The Geopoetics of the Arab World

Christian Elia, Jamila, Silvia Moresi

Can the narrative of cultural space within the Arab world help us deconstruct the toxic and stereotypical portrayal of these territories? By giving voice to the protagonists of culture that inhabit the places of the Arab world in its various forms—spaces in continuous metamorphosis—this meeting explores the many transformations that have been taking place since the revolutions of 2011.

Christian Elia, founder of Q Code Mag, Silvia Moresi, curator of Arabpop, and Jamila will present the relationships between the countries of the Maghreb, the Middle East, and the Arab Gulf, both within the region and with other Mediterranean countries, starting from a political perspective and cultural exchange.
