Stories of Light Dances on a Planet in Crisis

Sara Segantin

Science provides the tools. But it is art, music, literature, and philosophy— which then translate into politics, economics, and history—that determine whether and how we will use them.

When we talk about a changing climate, we discuss data, but above all, we face a profound crisis of culture and imagination, an inability to invent new possible worlds and to envision a fairer and more equitable future.

Through stories near and far, from those on the front lines of the fight against the climate crisis to those already suffering its tragic consequences, we will take a journey around our world to raise awareness of the greatest crisis of our time.

In dialogue with Marzio Fait and Silvia Kasper from the Youth Press Agency.

Sara Segantin is a writer, mountaineer, and science narrator. She works as a correspondent and conducts in-depth reports on climate and environment for Geo on Rai3.
