What does power mean today?
From which representations does it pass?
To what power are bodies subjected or feel they are subjected?

Watermark is the new performing arts workshop dedicated to young people aged between 17 and 27 led by Salvo Lombardo.
"Watermark" refers to the process of superimposing a logo or text, often in transparency, on a document or image. The choreographer invites us to reflect on the ‘watermarks’ that have marked bodies, defining the canons of corporeity.
During the workshops, which will be held from November to March, Salvo Lombardo, together with Lucrezia Gabrieli and Morgana Furlani, will lead the group in the exploration of body practices, images, videos and multimedia materials to open collective reflections on the narratives and representations that surround society, influencing the way the body is perceived and public space is experienced. The aim is to discover how personal and group experiences intertwine, finding new ways to tell their stories.
This is not a predefined path: the group itself will construct the working method, starting from its own interests and experiences. The process develops around three central themes:
Representations of the body - What does it mean to be represented? And what happens when one no longer recognises oneself in the images that surround everyday life?
The relationship between body and public space - Who decides how to experience public space? Is it really a space accessible to all?
The interweaving of personal and collective histories - How do individual experiences merge with historical and collective memories? And how is it possible to rewrite these narratives?

For those already experienced in the performing arts or those approaching a workshop for the first time, Watermark offers the ideal space to stop, reflect and share. In this context, it will be possible to discover how to rewrite stories that no longer belong and build new modes of expression.
It is not just a workshop, but an opportunity to explore the world through body, space and memory, creating together new forms of storytelling and awareness.
