Dimmi cosa vuoi vedere (Tell me what you want to see), the radio version of the show Earthbound. Ovvero le storie delle Camille is the new work by Marta Cuscunà, a project that will be broadcast on World Environment Day, Saturday, June 5 at 8:00 pm on Rai Radio3 as part of the program Il Teatro di Radio3 Dimmi cosa vuoi vedere.
In collaboration with Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione and Radio3, Marta Cuscunà has conducted a laboratory of perceptual research with the association Al. Di. Qua. Artists - Alternative Disability Quality Artists, to elaborate the radio description of the show Earthbound through the very process of research on what it means to make it accessible to those who cannot see it.
Earthbound. Ovvero le storie delle Camille is a science fiction monologue that explores a near future in which the manipulation of the human genome brings life back to areas of the planet damaged by humans. Inspired by the essay Staying with the trouble by the eco-feminist thinker Donna Haraway, the play brings to the stage a small community of "Earthbound", human beings who have been implanted with genes of endangered creatures with the dual purpose of preserving the species and promote a new perspective for human adaptation to the natural environment.
The project has been realized in collaboration with Mart Museo d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto and ABC Irifor del Trentino.
The project is supported by Europe Beyond Access Creative Europe.
