The movements we make daily, often repetitive, are part of our life, until we stop doing them without even realising it. The flow of time can lead us to forget. But what happens if we try to bring back those gestures? What else would come back to our memory?
Déjà vu is a workshop dedicated to people over 70, designed to rediscover the body as an archive and storytelling tool, where movement becomes a means to bring back emotions and stories from the past.
Led by choreographer Carlo Massari, together with performer Filippo Porro and artist and psychologist Veronica Boniotti, the project explores the power of the body in movement in awakening memories and transforming them into a shared dance.
The course will culminate in a final performance.
No previous experience is required, only the desire to participate and to explore one's own bodily experience in a simple and creative way. Participation is free of charge.
