PASSO NORD was founded in 2018 as an art residency centre in Trentino Alto Adige - Südtirol from our collaboration with Centrale Fies, Compagnia Abbondanza/Bertoni, Cooperativa Teatrale Prometeo and Teatro Cristallo.
We are five very different realities in the region, rooted for decades, with individual vocations and individual histories, united in the aim of creating a new plural form of hospitality, tailored to the needs of artists, which combines curatorial accompaniment and production support with a focus on relationships with professionals and local situations that have much to offer and as much to know.
The residency offered to artists in the PASSO NORD spaces encompasses an experience that goes far beyond the use of the rooms and venues. At the disposal of artists, creatives and companies are:

PASSO NORD was born with an important programme agreement between MIC, the Provincia Autonoma di Trento and the Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano.
