What if the fractures of a collapsing world revealed the first glimmers of rebirth?
The flying bodies of Circus Baobab’s acrobats seek out these very fractures, guiding us through the environmental challenges of a rapidly changing world. Human beings become crossroads of resistance, collapse, and recovery. Pyramids of bodies support and propel one another, torn between desire and fear. In a poetic representation of environmental disasters, the Guinean circus suggests that light emerges through human connection and the delicate balance between tradition and innovation.
The towering human pyramids alternating with spectacular aerial acrobatics are there to invite us to transcend our instinctive selfishness and transform it into collective strength.
