The latest creation by Mourad Merzouki, a choreographer from the hip hop scene and a frequent hybridizer of artistic disciplines, Vertikal pays tribute to the aerial world. With ten dancers from his company Käfig, Merzouki nurtures the myth of flight. With ropes as the protagonists, he makes his fearless hip hop dancers soar through the sky and skim the ground, debunking the myth of the floor and the gravity of the discipline. Virtuosity and poetry set to the delicate original music by Armand Amar.
