Piazza Urban City
Sciucàri
World premiere | Co-produced by Oriente Occidente
Empty squares. Streets that have lost their games and voices. Sciucàri — a word meaning "to play" in the dialect of Salento — starts anew from here. Tarantelle and saltarelli: five bodies rekindle shared gestures. Between memory and imagination, rhythm once again fills the space, and repetition offers a common ground where people can meet once again. Dance and play merge, generating new directions. And so, space changes, filling with sound once more.
