National premiere

NO, La Venidera | ph Alba Muriel

Saying NO is a rite of initiation: it breaks with the past and opens the way to the new. Irene Tena and Albert Hernández reclaim the tradition of flamenco through an act of rupture. Born in the late 1990s, the two artists acknowledge their origins, while starting anew from what remains after saying NO: the space created by stepping away, emptiness as a passage, and the risk of the unknown as a way to keep searching.

Few artists like Irene Tena and Albert Hernández embody the spirit of renewal in the world of dance. Everything about NO is revolutionary.
