A museum off-axis: within the Mart’s permanent collection, this site-specific experience overturns the visitor’s perspective. An alternative audio guide accompanies the audience, while the works come to life through text, music, and performances. Inspired by the writings on the will of images by iconologist W.J.T. Mitchell, the work disrupts the norm: the gaze is redirected as the pieces cease to be objects to be looked at and start to breathe, speak, and desire.
