The new edition of the Oriente Occidente Dance Festival will be staged in the theatres, gardens, museums and squares of the city of Rovereto between 30 August and 7 September and the program, as always, will unite great names from the international scene with Italian productions and new trends from around the world, also thanks to the important collaboration with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF).
The latest chapter around the theme Mediterranei, the 44th edition of the Festival continues to look at this space, that is much more than a physical place, as a multitude of voices with a plural and sometimes fragmented approach.
After a geographical look in 2022 and after having shifted the focus to the timeline considering urgencies in 2023, the focus for 2024 will be on the relationships that cross this space involving it, modifying it, not considering it.
Like every year, to let questions, contradictions, fragilities emerge, questioning us, there are the artists, the true protagonists of Oriente Occidente Dance Festival. For edition number 44, among others, in Rovereto there will be Seeta Patel, Leïla Ka, Compagnia Abbondanza/Bertoni.
