JUMP

JUMP is the network that unites us - as the lead institution - with Festival MILANoLTRE, Fondazione I Teatri Reggio Emilia, Lavanderia a Vapore/Piemonte dal Vivo, Marche Teatro/Inteatro Festival, Orbita| Spellbound - Centro di Produzione Nazionale della Danza, Scenario Pubblico/Compagnia Zappalà Danza, Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Vicenza and Teatro Stabile dell'Umbria with the aim of supporting artists and companies going through a middle phase in order to accompany them during the production process, towards debut and touring also beyond national borders.

A solid partnership, a limited number and the heterogeneity of the partners guarantee a continuous dialogue within the network that allows it to respond to the needs of the different phases, from creation to distribution.

The selection of artists supported by JUMP is by direct call, and for the first two-year period JUMP chose to support the work of Panzetti/Ticconi, an ambitious project involving several performers: INSEL.

The name Jump was chosen because it communicates a strong energy, a momentum, a movement that takes the feet off the ground and lifts, elevates, leads upwards. A word that recalls the body and dance, but above all alludes to the invitation to supported artists to take a leap towards more ambitious and challenging projects through support that opens up new possibilities.
